anyway.. shining force is an awosme game it is an rpg of unbelivable proportions
here is a walkthrough
You begin your quest at Guardiana. You are outside the church, training with Lord Varios. Once you wake up, exit the area and talk to Lowe. Then go back to talk with Varios. A guard will come and summon Varios to the castle. Varios tells you to prepare for the worst. Go back and talk to Lowe. He will tell you that Varios looked pale and wants to find out what's going on. Go to the castle. Talk to the king. He will give you the details on an assignment he wants you to do. Agree and exit the castle area. Here, you will meet your band of skilled warriors. They are Luke the warrior, Ken the knight, Tao the mage, and Hans the archer. Lowe will also join you. Once you exit the town, a cart will take you to your destination. It is best if you cast Egress right away and go to the village beside the Gate of the Ancient first. There, you will find Gong and meet Jogurt.
Battle 1
1 Rune Knight*

After the battle, exit the building.
Battle 2
2 Rune Knights
3 Dark Dwarves
6 Goblins
Return to Guardiana. You will learn that while you were out, Runefaust invaded and wiped out most of the town. Go to the Green Dragon and talk to Gort. He will join you. Go back to the castle. The minister will tell you that the king has been injured and Kane was fighting with Varios. Go in and watch Varios die. Kane will say he got what he was looking for and leave. Mae will join you after Varios dies. Exit Guardiana.
Battle 3
5 Rune Knights
5 Dark Dwarves
5 Giant Bats
Go to Alterone. Find the guy that asks you if Guardiana has been wiped out. Say yes and go back to the castle. Talk to the king. He will say he has an "Advisor" on this matter. Follow him downstairs. Talk to Kane. He'll throw you in jail. Search the bars. Khris will free you and show you a secret passage. Follow it out.
Battle 4
4 Giant Bats
4 Dark Dwarves
4 Rune Knights
2 Snipers
1 Dark Mage
Go back and talk to the king. Say that you forgive him and find the dragon head, which is on the wall southwest of the throneroom. Search it and pull the chain. Follow the passage out.
You arrive at Rindo. Enter Rindo. Find the mayor's house and talk to him. He'll refuse to give you his ship. Exit the town.
Battle 5

4 Zombies
Go to Manarina. Talk to Anri and enter the room she was blocking. Talk to Otrant. He will let you go into the Cavern of Darkness.
Battle 6

Exit and show Otrant the Orb of Light. Go to the spirit pool and use it. The spirit will name you the Shining Force. Go talk to Otrant again and return to Rindo. Talk to the mayor again and agree to look for his grandson. Go back to the tent. The man will let you in now.
Battle 7

Go talk to the mayor. He'll let you have his ship. Go to the ship. Misheala will burn the ship. Talk to the mayor again and then to his son. Then go north to Shade Abbey. Talk to the priest and head out back. Something looks suspicious. The villagers follow you until you see Balbaroy, who tells you to run.
Battle 8
1 Ghoul
3 Skeletons
6 Zombies
After the battle, Balbaroy will join you. Head out and talk to Amon. Amon will join you and the chapter ends.
Explore Bustoke. Find the queen. She will give you permission to enter the quarry. Go to the quarry.
Battle 9

2 Dark Elves
2 Dark Mages
4 Dark Priests
6 Skeletons
After the battle, get the Moon Stone and give it to the alchemist. He will make Lunar Dew. Decide whether or not to give it to Zylo and exit the town.
Battle 10

4 Pegasus Knights

Head north to the bridge. Watch the silver knight try to kill Pelle.
Battle 11

Pelle will join you
You start in Pao, a town full of wagons. You can't do anything yet, so go find Elliot and talk to him. You can now go into all the wagons. Find the lead wagon and talk to the girl. After you talk to her a few times, the wagons will leave and you can exit the town. Head out of town.

After the battle, go to Pao. Buy equipment, and talk to everyone. Go north to the fort

Go into the door that opens. Head into Uranbatol. Go to the docks.
Battle 14
Balbazak*

You must say yes when Balbazak asks you to spare his life.
You start on the ship. Monsters have been following you for a few days, and finally catch up with you.
Battle 15

Nova tells you that the ship has been damaged during the battle. Shell will show up and tell you that you can get your ship repaired at Waral. When you arrive at Waral, the king will tell you that the repairs on your ship will take a while. Go explore the town. You will find a boat that you can travel in. Go past the bouys, and you'll be swept on to Ring Reef. Talk to the friar. Go down to the building. Follow the skeleton into a battle.

After the battle, the voice from the pool will tell you that she sent the mermaid to get you to here, and this is a Shining Path to Metapha, the land of the ancients. However, before you can enter, the master mage blocks the path. The spirit will tell you that there is another path in Prompt. Go out. Talk to the king, and you leave. Sea creatures will follow you into another battle.

The helm of the ship will be destroyed, leaving you lost at sea.
You awaken in Rudo, a long ways from Prompt. Go find Karin and talk to her. Find Krin and talk to her. Talk to Karin again and you can leave the town.
Battle 18

Go to Dragonia. First explore the town. Then find Bleu the dragon. Follow the dialogue. What should happen is that Karin will follow you to Dragonia and when Bleu wants to stay away from you, she calls him a coward. She screams for help and Bleu goes to her aid. He toasts a Rune Knight and then joins you. Karin will return to Rudo. Go to the center of the town. Talk to Kane. Go to base and enter another battle.

After you defeat Kane, go into the shrine. Walk near the two doors. A voice will tell you that 2 heroes are needed. Kane will appear at the bottom of the shrine. Talk to him, and both of you enter the door. Follow Kane in. Watch the fight between Kane and Darksol. Darksol ends up taking the manual. Return to Rudo, and talk to Karin and Krin. Then exit.

Go south to Demon Castle.
Battle 21

After the fight, if you haven't done so already, get all the items before you get the Sword of Light. As soon as you get the Sword of Light, the chapter ends.
You begin in Prompt. Go into the castle and talk to King Kusko. The king will accuse you of being a spy. No matter what you answer, he will put you in a jail cell. Search the bars. Boken will come downstairs and free you. Go back upstairs. A messanger will go to King Kusko and report that the soldiers he sent to the Tower of the Ancients say that Dark Sol seems unbeatable, and they can't hold out for much longer. Go to the room south of where the stairs leading to the jail cell are. Talk to Kane. King Kusko will tell you that they found Kane, and you can talk when he recovers his stregth. Exit. Kain will call out to King Kusko and ask him to let you leave for the Tower of the Ancients. King Kusko gives in, and you can leave the town.
Battle 22

Go to the Tower of the Ancients. Go up until you enter a battle.
Battle 23
1 Demon Master*

After the battle, you can't control what happens. You will go up into the tower. Alef and Torasu will say that Darksol was too strong for them to beat. They tell you that they will be okay. You will go up another set of stairs. Darksol will tell you that you are too late and he is rising the Castle of the Ancients. He says that he will kill you now. Suddenly Kane appears and saves you, but dies in the process. Exit and go back to Prompt. Talk to King Kusko. He will tell you that all is lost. Otrant will appear and tell the king of the Chaos Breaker. Light and Darkness will join together to combat evil. You will need the Sword of Light and the Sword Darkness. Kane left the Sword of Darkness with King Kusko. King Kusko will give it to you. Go and find the Shining Path in the castle. Follow it to Metapha. Use the Orb of Light at the pool. Talk to Adam and he will take you to where the Chaos Breaker is to be created. Chaos will attempt to block your way. Adam will try to revert him to normal function, but Darksol reprogrammed him.

Follow the way up and follow the directions on how to create the Chaos Breaker. Go and use the Orb of Light on the eye. The spirit will tell that it is up to you to save Rune from Dark Dragon. Talk to King Kusko. Otrant will tell you to see Mahato when you go to Runefaust. Exit the town and fight your way to the Accursed Door.

You have reached Runefaust at last. Go into the town and go into the castle. Find Mahato and talk to him. You can go into Ramladu's castle now. Mahato will tell you that Ramladu is but Darksol's puppet now. Enter the castle. Darksol will stop you and tell you that he is going to rise the Castle of the Ancients and awaken Dark Dragon. He will leave Ramladu to fight you.
Battle 26

3 Blue Dragons

3 Chimeras
Ramladu will face you with his robots now.
Battle 27
Ramladu*
6 Torch Eyes
6 Steel Claws
After you defeat Ramladu, he will tell you that he is once again himself, even though he is dying. He will tell you that Runefaust was known as Protectora before Darksol came. He begs you to stop Darksol. After Ramladu dies, go out the exit that Nova found. Go to the westmost point and use the Chaos Breaker. The Castle of the Ancients will rise. Now go into the Gates of the Ancients. You will encounter a guardian.
Battle 28

Go up into the next room. You will see Darksol reviving Dark Dragon. He will almost revive Dark Dragon, but you interrupted him. He will get mad and attack you.
Battle 29

After you kill him, he will use the last of him power to revive Dark Dragon.
Battle 30
3 Dark Dragon heads*
X Armed Skeletons(There are 2 spots where skeletons pop up. Put a person over it to stop them from appearing.)
Note: If you retreat from the Dark Dragon battle, you will have to fight Dark Sol again.
